How to Prepare for the Treatment?
Major preparation isn’t required, however there are some small steps you can take in order to ensure a successful treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for 4-6 weeks, aspirin and smoking at least a week before the procedure.
You also can’t be treated if you have a spray tan or artificial tan. On the day of, avoid creams, lotions and moisturizers and wear comfortable clothing.
After Treatment Care:
Immediately after the treatment, your skin may experience some redness and swelling to the area, which may feel like a sunburn. The discomfort can be cured with some ice and aloe vera. This feeling could last either a few hours, or up to 2 days.
There’s very little downtime after this treatment. Directly after the treatment, avoid extreme heat, sun exposure, exfoliating or irritating products. If you’re going to spend time in the sun, use lots of sunscreen!
